Terms of Service

By installing MetaForge on your Shopify store or accessing any part of our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use MetaForge.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

MetaForge is an AI-powered SEO metadata generation tool for Shopify stores. The service connects to your Shopify store via the Shopify Partner API, reads your product catalog, and uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate optimised meta titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text for your products.

Generated metadata can be reviewed in the MetaForge dashboard and published directly to your Shopify store with a single click. MetaForge is designed for Shopify agencies and store owners managing product catalogs of 25 or more products.

MetaForge offers a free trial subject to the following conditions:

• 50 generations free — you may generate SEO metadata for up to 50 products at no charge during the trial period.
• One store per trial — the free trial applies to a single connected Shopify store.
• Work email required — you must register with a business email address. Consumer email domains (including Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, iCloud, and me.com) are not eligible for the free trial.
• Daily limit — free trial users may generate metadata for a maximum of 10 products per day. The daily limit resets at midnight UTC.
• Store size requirement — your connected Shopify store must have at least 25 products to qualify for the free trial.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time with reasonable notice.

Upon exhausting your free trial or choosing to upgrade, paid subscription plans are available:

• Monthly billing — subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. Your billing cycle begins on the date you subscribe.
• Cancel anytime — you may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to the service until then.
• No refunds on current period — we do not issue refunds for the current billing period upon cancellation. If you cancel mid-month, your access continues until the period ends and you will not be charged again.

MetaForge is intended for use by Shopify agencies and Shopify store owners. You agree not to:

• Resell the service — you may not resell, sublicense, or white-label MetaForge to third parties without our express written consent.
• Abuse the free trial — creating multiple accounts to circumvent trial limits, using temporary or disposable email addresses, or any other method of artificially extending the free trial is prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
• Use the service for harmful purposes — you may not use MetaForge to generate metadata that is misleading, defamatory, illegal, or in violation of Shopify's policies.
• Overload the service — automated scripts or bots that make excessive API requests to MetaForge's infrastructure are prohibited.

MetaForge platform — MetaForge, including its software, design, trademarks, and branding, is owned by MetaForge and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the MetaForge platform without our permission.

Your generated content — the SEO metadata generated for your products (meta titles, meta descriptions, and alt text) belongs to you. You retain full ownership of all generated content and may use it however you see fit, including after cancelling your subscription.

Your product data — you retain ownership of your Shopify product data. By using MetaForge, you grant us a limited licence to access and process your product data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

MetaForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the generated metadata will achieve any particular SEO result or ranking improvement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost rankings, or loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to MetaForge in the three months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MetaForge at any time if:

• You violate these Terms of Service.
• You abuse the free trial or attempt to circumvent usage limits.
• Your use of the service causes harm to MetaForge or other users.
• You fail to pay any amounts owed on your subscription.

Upon termination, your access to the service will be disabled immediately. You may request a copy of your generated metadata before termination by contacting us.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MetaForge shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia.
